Park Jung-min delivers an intense and emotional performance, portraying Jaeyoon’s growth from a reserved soldier to a resilient survivor. Supporting actors Im Sung-jae, Hong Seo-hee, Tang Jun-sang, and Kim Junhan add depth to the narrative, enhancing the tension and realism of the post-apocalyptic setting.
Direction & Cinematic Quality
Director Yoon Sung-hyun masterfully blends action, horror, and romance, keeping the story engaging. Reviews & Ratings
Critics have praised the unique take on zombie survival and the engaging lead performances. On IMDb, the show holds a solid rating, with many fans applauding its intense storytelling and chemistry between the leads. However, some viewers felt the CGI effects could be better, and a few found the pacing inconsistent. Reviews on MyDramaList show a divided audience, with some rating it as high as 8.5/10, while others found it underwhelming.
Fans of K-dramas and zombie thrillers have responded well, especially Jisoo’s fanbase, who admire her growth as an actress. Many viewers appreciated the compact eight-episode format, which keeps the story tight without unnecessary filler. However, some criticized the slow start and a few illogical plot points, such as unrealistic character decisions during the zombie outbreak.
